We are looking for experienced Network Security Engineers and Security Architects to join our growing security team and actively contribute to designing and implementing cutting-edge network security solutions.
Your Responsibilities
Network Security Architect
- Develop and implement global network security architectures to ensure performance, interoperability, and security
- Define architecture guidelines and implement service monitoring, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Forecast security threats and design corresponding countermeasures
- Coordinate complex security initiatives across multiple sites
- Evaluate new technologies and platforms for business suitability
- Prepare security concepts and system architecture documentation
Network Security Engineer
- Assess security threats and implement appropriate countermeasures
- Create firewall policies, high-level, detailed, and test concepts
- Document network architectures, including IPAM and resource management systems
- Rollout, monitor, and maintain network security solutions
- Analyze firewall events, incidents, and problems
- Support PoCs, change requests, and implementations
- Participate in task forces, maintenance windows, and on-call duties
Shared Responsibilities
- Support architecture teams with design, requirements analysis, and technology recommendations
- Train IT staff in network protocols, technologies, and security standards
- Analyze trends and emerging technologies to anticipate future network needs
- Support budget planning for network projects and investments
Your Profile
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Network Engineering
- Certifications: CCSE, CCSM, CISSP, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network and IT security, ideally with a focus on firewall management, network architecture, and security operations
- German B2 and fluent English
- Valid work permit for Switzerland and Swiss residence
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland; weekend and on-call work required
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and high personal responsibility
